Good Morning to all!
Lori Clark with the Midwest Transplant Network (MWTN) brought some interesting and lifesaving information to the club last Friday. Rotary South’s interest in working with MWTN began with the late Tom Thomas, our club’s charter president and recipient of a donated heart at St. Luke’s. Tom was an MWTN Ambassador when he died, and Columbia Rotary South has carried the local education and awareness effort since his passing in 2016. There will be an Organ Donation sign up available during the 2019 Mizzou Homecoming Blood Drive, Sept. 30 – Oct. 3. To learn more about this effort, or to sign up to donate go to www.missouriorgandonor.com
There are several opportunities to serve this week (and earn make-up points)
Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Shakespeare’s South we will be making signs to support those participating in Lizzy’s Walk of Faith (5K Walk/Run)
- Friday evening, 9/13, you can join our club in participating in the Columbia Police Foundation’s 4th Annual Trivia Night.

Thanks to all who participated in our Club Black and Gold day last week – it was a good-looking room!
